In this modern world, where all the people are communicating or delivering their messages in normal texts or mail, because of that reasons, all the software is getting updated day by day. Now whenever we talk about text messages to someone on any social media platform we see a sign (double ticks or any other indication) that indicates the other person will receive our messages, in some social media platforms we generally see a blue colour tick but some of the people are facing some other indication like they see green colour instead of blue.

Some iPhone users use iMessage which allows users to send messages, photos, videos, and documents over the internet. iMessage indicates blue and other features like end-to-end encryption, group chats and read receipts. On the other hand, SMS is a standard texting service that generally uses cellular networks to send text messages. SMS messages are usually green and there are no such other features as iMessage.

  • The person you should send the message doesn’t have an Apple device.
  • Maybe sometimes due to some unstable network issue or due to no internet connection, your message will turn green.
  • Sometimes message forwarding issues can cause iMessage to be sent as SMS which results in intogreen messages. 
  • The iMessage may be turned off on your Apple device or your recipient’s device.
  • The iMessage may be temporarily unavailable on your Apple device.
  • Maybe sometimes you may need to upgrade your software.
