Dustin Glenn Poirier was born on January 19, 1989. He is an American former professional mixed martial artist with the net worth around $10 million. He competes in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship(UFC), and he was a former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion. Poirier is considered one of the greatest Lightweights of all time, and he has also challenged three times for the UFC Lightweight Championship and twice for the BMF title. He also holds the record for the most KO/TKO championships in the UFC lightweight division, in a tie with Drew Dober.
Dustin Poirier was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and he is of the Cajun heritage. He attended the Northside High School and he dropped out in the ninth grade after a while.
Early Life and Training
Poirier turned into a professional in 2009, and he compiled a record of 7-0 quickly, and he competed mostly in regional promotions all over his native, Louisiana, and the Southern United States.

But for the most part, he finishes his opponents through his proficiency in the striking arts, considering his career in the early days in the UFC.
