Marilyn Mosby House | Residence of Former Baltimore State’s Attorney

Marilyn Mosby is a well-known political figure and former-state Attorney. Apart from legal practice, she gained popularity due to home purchases. She owns more than one home in different US cities, which tells us about her investment plan and smart economic investments. However, she became a media sensation when she engaged herself in legal troubles. As a result, one of her houses was seized by court orders. This made me interested in her, and for this reason, I wrote this article. In it, I will describe Mosby’s interior and exterior properties.

Baltimore Home

This is Marilyn Mosby’s family home, it is said that this house holds a great significance in her life. She bought this house long ago in 2005, the house was in poor condition at that time. She renovated this house and converted it into a house for their family. The house is built of bricks, just like any other house in Baltimore City. But public specifications of the house are unknown. But it is also reported that it has a couple of bedrooms, a sitting room and a dining room.

We do not know if this house has a swimming pool or not. Even the size of the house is unknown. But it is known that Mosby shares her neighborhood with many historic houses. As noted earlier, this home holds a significant place in Moby’s life. She had formerly lived in an apartment with her former husband Nick Mosby, who serves on the Baltimore City Council. They lived here for several years and this home was an integral part of their family life as well as professional life.

Houses in Florida

Mosby owns two houses in Florida. The first house is a single-family house with 3,200 square feet, four bedrooms, and three bathrooms. It is a costly estate with a private pool and a big backyard. The house also has a sleek and fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. In addition to this, the house has a big living room and a dining room for family lunches.

There is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a bathtub and a shower. Mosby also enjoys a two-garage in the property where she stores her vehicles. The property offers the ideal blend of privacy and accessibility to the nearby locations. However, she sold this house in November 2021 for $696,000.

In 2020, Mosby purchased another, this time quite big, house in Florida. This home has eight bedrooms and is located near Disney World. In the subsequent year, she bought another home in Longboat, Florida. She bought both properties by withdrawing her retirement funds. Later, these purchases landed her in legal issues, and she was convicted of falsely claiming her financial hardship to withdraw her retirement funds. She was sentenced to 12 months of home confinement and 100 hours of community service.

The Longboat house is a two-bedroom condo with nice water views through its private balcony. It has two bathrooms and is spread across 1433 square feet. It was built in 1984 and has a cathedral ceiling that gives it a unique look. The house also has walk-in closets and access to a community pool.
