Five people, including his assistant who had been working with him for a long time, and two doctors were charged for the cause of his overdose. Hunter who headed the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office in his report noted that Perry also drowned, and suffered from coronary artery disease.
Perry was being administered ketamine infusion therapy for addiction treatment. His assistant, along with other medical personnel, were charged with providing illegal drugs and using the treatment without supervision.
