Jordan Belfort is an American author and motivational speaker born July 9, 1962. He is a former stockbroker who has pleaded guilty to numerous crimes relating to stock market manipulation and running a long-term penny stock scam.
While in prison, he wrote the memoir “The Wolf of Wall Street” which was eventually adapted into a film directed by Scorsese and Starring DiCaprio.
