Jann left Nissan’s GT500 lineup after the end of the 2020 season. He was offered race seats in Super GT’s super formula but he couldn’t acquire the budget that was needed. In year 2021 and 2022, he was a simulator and car development driver for Nissan e.dams and its customer team.
He has also worked as a stunt driver in the production of the film that he is co-producing. Finally in May 2023, he returned to racing at the Fuji 24 hours. The crew held a pole position for the event and led significant portions of it, but ultimately finished fourth, as they encountered brake issues.
He also contested in in the Silverstone 500 round of the 2024 British GT Championship, where he won in the Pro-Am class and an overall podium alongside.
